At this time my focus is painting experimentation- and getting my studio in order. I'm currently craned over one of several timber panels that I've been living with for some time. I hope to show a selection of these paintings in Aotearoa before the end of 2026.

My paintings develop through layering and surface archaeology, building depth slowly, sometimes over years. More than ever, I am enjoying making beautiful art objects that are pored-over and complicated- paintings that can transform a space.

In 2026 I am inspired by remote sensing, worship, N-body simulation, The Fox and the Cat, dead-internet-theory, glitter, and the aesthetics of aspiration.
