Welcome to my studio overlook, a window into my multimedia art practice.
My art is playful, obsessive, and quietly existential. For two decades I have created and exhibited art shaped by my own queer and neurodivergent experiences.
Making art that mines the personal in search of the cosmic and the absurd.
In recent years I've been drawn back to painting experimentation and getting my studio in order. I'm currently craned over timber panels that I've been living with for some time. I hope to show a selection of paintings in Aotearoa before the end of the year.
My paintings develop through layering and overpainting, building depth slowly, often over weeks or years, sometimes sanding most of it away. More than ever, I am focussed on making beautifully-crafted art objects that are pored-over and complicated but immensely easy to live with.
In 2026 I am inspired by worship, festering beauty, dead-internet-theory, and the aesthetics of middle-class aspirations.
